Our Albert Dock Exhibition took place in Unit C7 along the Colonnades at The Albert Dock from 3rd - 23rd May 2014: £252.30 was raised. We would like to thank the staff and directorate at the dock for allowing us to exhibit and raise funds so close to Liverpool City Centre and in a location so stepped in Liverpudlian history and culture. 

 

 An exhibition took place at Rennies Arts and Crafts at 30 Burscough Street in Ormskirk  from 1st  to 31st October 2013. The staff at Rennies must be thanked for their generosity.

Macmillan Coffee Mornings at Forum Court Retirement Homes, Lord Street, Southport (28th September 2012) and Homestead Farm in Holmeswood (29th September 2012). 

The drawing of the window view created by Anton Dolders during his demonstration at Homestead Farm acted as preliminary work for a painting which became the 1st prize in the raffle at the Macmillan Coffee Morning. Art For Macmillan would like to thank both Homestead Farm and ABC Gallery for their kindness in providing exhibition space. The exhibition which corresponds with Macmillan's Coffee Morning event continues until 29th October and features work by artist Anton Dolders and photographer Malcolm Mentha.

 Christmas Exhibition 1st November - 24th December 2011 at Marble Place, Chapel Street, Southport.

This exhibition was comprised of work by thirty eight artists from around the NorthWest and took place in TDF Cafe; Against The Grain Furniture and a vacant unit in the arcade: £726 was raised.

 Oh You Pretty Things, 87 Victoria Road, Crosby.  21st March - 18th April 2012

Six artists from Sefton exhibited and £205 was raised at the launch event on the 21st March. Fundraising through sales of artwork at Oh You Pretty Things is ongoing. Art For Macmillan Cancer Support would like to thank Anna McGrath and her family for their incredible assistance with this.

Wayfarer's Arcade, Lord Street, Southport 30th January - 3rd March  and 18th June - 30th July 2012.

Two exhibitions featuring work by twenty artists from Merseyside, West Lancashire and Cheshire. A total of £1336.82 was raised.

A Night of Music, Art and Literature at Portland Hall Spa, 7th March 2012.

A variety show featuring some of the top local writers, musicians and performers in their field. See flyer for details

 

Macmillan Gallery and Studio, Ormskirk Indoor Market, The Market Hall, Moorgate, Ormskirk  4th  - 29th August 2012. 

Included in this exhibition were John West, Irene Wilson, Anton Dolders, Brian Beattie and Peter Cameron. £196 was raised

 

Macmillan Art Fair, Town Hall Gardens, Lord Street, Southport

This open air art fair took place on four out of six sundays from 15th July - 19th August in 2012 and £96 was raised.  

 Art In The Kitchen Sink launched at The Kitchen Sink showroom, 111b Eastbank Street, Southport PR8 1DG on 15th November 2012 and continued until 15th Feb 2013

This exhibition featured work by Sefton and West Lancashire based artists: Irene Wilson, Mo Letts, Brian Beattie, Anton Dolders, John West, John Chatterton, Peter Cameron, Wendy Cockwill and Jo looker. There were also sculptures by Pam Thomas and Kurt Dereli. This exhibition was part of the Macmillan Christmas Arts Festival 2012

 Art For Macmillan Cancer Support would like to thank The Kitchen Sink's owners Sue, Kevin and Andrea Long, for their great help with setting up this exhibition and raising £122 for Macmillan on the launch night and also The Little Owl Food Company for preparing such wonderful food.
